Are all your lights weatherproof?
Yes, every light we sell is either IP44 or IP65 weather resistant, meaning rain, hail or shine, they'll be shining bright every day.
If your lights ever stop working, just remember they are backed by our lifetime replacement guarantee. Simply reach out to our support team here if you ever have any issues with your lights.
Where can I use the lights?
Anywhere that gets sunlight during the day. Your backyard, front yard, driveway, veggie patch or any outdoor paths around your home. As long as the solar panel for the lights gets sun during the day, they'll turn on automatically at night.

What happens if the lights stop working?
All SolaGarden lights have a lifetime replacement warranty. If they stop working, just send us an email and we'll replace them free of charge.
What are your best selling lights?
The Festoon lights have been our best sellers for years now. They are brighter and more durable than any other solar festoon lights on the market and our customers love them.
What colour are The Fairy String Lights?
These come in a beautiful warm white, which gives off a soft, cosy glow that's perfect for setting the mood indoors or out. Please note we only offer the warm white option for this product.
Do I have to set them up again every night?
Not at all, and that's one of the handiest features. The Fairy String Lights have a built-in memory function, so they remember the last mode you set. There's no need to fiddle with the settings each evening, they'll simply pick up where you left off.
How are they powered, and do they turn on by themselves?
They're fully solar powered, so there's no wiring or mains power needed. They charge up in 5 to 8 hours of sunshine during the day and provide around 6 to 8 hours of illumination at night once fully charged. A built-in light sensor switches them on and off automatically, so they take care of themselves. Just make sure the solar panel is placed somewhere it can soak up plenty of light.
Can I use them outside, and are they waterproof?
Yes, you can use them both indoors and out. The lights are waterproof, making them great for gardens, walls, fences, ceilings, roofs, Christmas trees and even boats or cars. They're a popular pick for occasions like Christmas, weddings, parties and Valentine's Day too.
Are there different lighting effects to choose from?
There certainly are. The Fairy String Lights come with 8 working modes: combination, waves, sequential, slo-glo, chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle/flash and steady on. Whether you want a bit of sparkle and movement for a party or a calm steady glow for everyday ambiance, there's a setting to suit.
How quickly do I get my lights after I order?
Once you have placed an order, our team will carefully package your lights and ship them within 24-48 hours. To speed up delivery if your order contains different types of lights, you may sometimes receive them separately so we can get them to you as fast as possible.
Your lights will be sent via Australia Post, and then they should be safely in your patiently waiting hands within 3-7 business days.
As soon as your order is sent you will receive a shipping confirmation email from us complete with a tracking number so you can follow its journey.
How much do I pay for shipping?
All orders include FREE and fast delivery Australia-wide, no matter how many lights you order.
How do I track my order?
After we pass your order to Australia Post, we will send you a shipping confirmation email which will have a ‘Track Order’ button. This will take you directly to the Australia Post site so you can follow the live tracking updates!
Haven’t received your shipping confirmation email yet? Check your spam folder too (it may have ended up there).
If I don't like the lights, can I return them?
Sadly, we know that sometimes our SolaGarden lights are just not quite the right fit for some people. You can certainly return your lights to us for a full refund, provided it is returned within 100 days.
*Please note: Not all items are eligible for return. Any exclusions will be called out on product pages and / or at checkout. All SolaGarden lights must be returned in as new condition, with any tags and the original box.

Do I have to pay for a return?

All eligible returns (for both refunds and exchanges) within Australia will be covered with a free return shipping label that we are happy to organise for you, which means no expenses at the post office!
